Hello, I''m Theresa!

My interest in hair started at a young age. I loved seeing beautiful, intricate braids and hairstyles, experimenting with my own long hair, and trying new styles and accessories whenever I could. Hair always felt creative, expressive, and personal to me.

That interest deepened after a haircut experience in the third grade that didn’t go as planned. What I asked for and what I received were very different, and it left me hesitant to trust salons for a long time. Instead, I began teaching myself — learning how to cut, style, and care for my own hair through countless YouTube videos. That curiosity turned into confidence, and eventually, a clear passion.

After spending a couple of years in college, I realized my major didn’t align with what truly inspired me. I made the decision to pivot and pursue a career I felt genuinely excited about. I enrolled at Penrose Academy, and it became one of the most fulfilling years of my life. I graduated in 2021 and shortly after began assisting to continue building my foundation behind the chair.

A few years later, I opened my own salon suite, where I’ve now been independently serving clients for over two years. My services have evolved intentionally over time — beginning with hair services, expanding into soft ombré powder brows, and eventually falling in love with bridal hairstyling. Each step has been thoughtful, allowing me to grow while staying aligned with the kind of experience I want to offer.

Education has always been a priority for me. I invest in continued education every year to refine my skills, stay current, and deliver high-quality, considered results. Just as important, my goal is to ensure every client feels heard, supported, and confident throughout their experience — because I understand how it feels when something doesn’t align with what you asked for.

I’m incredibly grateful for this journey — from learning on my own, to hair school, to assisting, and now building a space that continues to grow with intention.

Growth & Digital Templates

As Timeless Artistry continues to grow, my vision is to expand beyond in-studio services and create resources that support clients outside the salon as well.

One area I’m especially excited about is designing intentional, easy-to-use templates for future brides — tools that help simplify the DIY side of wedding planning while still feeling elevated and thoughtful. From wedding day timelines to share with guests, invitation layouts, cocktail menus, signage, and other planning details, my goal is to create designs that feel calm, cohesive, and approachable.

These tools are meant to remove stress, save time, and help brides feel more prepared and confident — without needing to overthink every detail. Just like my approach behind the chair, everything I create will be rooted in clarity, intention, and care.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue refining my craft, expanding my offerings thoughtfully, and creating experiences — both in person and digitally — that feel supportive, personal, and genuinely helpful.
